Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers between locations. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3), dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your enjoyment. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a fantastic holiday destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam airport is about 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with reception to ensure you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as some shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. Culinary variety is provided by a main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a "Dine Around" option: per stay, one visit to the Italian à-la-carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
Outside, there are 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the hotel's own beach and at the pools.

Breakfast from 6:30 am - 10:30 am, lunch from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm, each buffet style. Throughout the day, various snacks are available for small appetites.
In the afternoon, tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm and ice cream from 10 am - 5 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as fresh juice from 10 am - midnight. "Pharao Club" guests have 1 dinner per stay in an à-la-carte restaurant included (in "Fayruz"), registration required. A fruit basket upon arrival.
