Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m. a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then returning to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Afterward, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterward, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks as well as a small bottle of water per person are included.

The resort from the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream holiday destination offering ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious Adults Only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. Facilities include an inviting lobby with reception to make you feel at home from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. A main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars provide culinary variety.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: Per stay, one visit to the Italian à-la-carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).

Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30-5:30 p.m. and ice cream from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
