Travel Information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also features ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Accommodation

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Superior Double Room

The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7:00 am to 10:30 am, lunch from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and dinner from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to have your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". Sparkling wine breakfast is included in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can also be taken in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet & Light, Bedouin Restaurant).
