Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected lasts for 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preceding and subsequent stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 outside cabins spread across various decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The beautiful hotel complex is located directly in the heart of Makadi Bay, next to the popular sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (HRG223). The holiday resort is located in the first row to the beach, at the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots in the bay, offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently sloping beach.
The city center of Hurghada is about 37 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 32 km away.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 240 rooms and suites spread across various building complexes. With its unique and high-quality culinary concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt, offering a choice of three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine, and "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The à la carte restaurant "Posh Club Lounge" is exclusively available for Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The unique culinary concept offers you breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1 PM to 4 PM, and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to have breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge." Sparkling wine breakfast is included in all four restaurants.
