Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary

Embarkation: Thursdays.
The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.
Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Amenities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one of which is located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. On the sun deck, there are also sufficient loungers for relaxation, as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. Furthermore, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

The fully renovated resort has 869 spacious rooms spread over several buildings. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Culinary well-being is provided by six buffet restaurants and two snack restaurants (Asian, Oriental, Italian, seafood, steakhouse, etc.) as well as five bars.

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² in size and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds).
