Combined product featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all inter-resort transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2, 3); breakfast box is included.
Then sailing back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3) and the Karnak Temple (1, 2, 3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins, spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness room, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same features as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The balconies of the Royal Suites are also equipped with a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and are otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same features as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and seating area, featuring instead a non-opening window.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel, in a first-class location, is situated directly on a 600-meter-long white sandy beach and offers the perfect conditions for swimming. The offshore house reef offers ideal opportunities for snorkeling to get to know the beautiful and colorful underwater world of the Red Sea.

Amenities

The completely renovated resort features 869 spacious rooms spread across several buildings. Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Rooms are identical in size and equipment to the Deluxe Double Rooms with Sea View but do not have a sea view (DD2/DD3/1DD). Additionally bookable facing the sea side (X2M/X1M) or with garden view (DDA).

Splash Room Aqua Park View

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds). The rooms feature two bathrooms with shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, tea/coffee maker, dressing area, minibar (water free of charge daily), and a spacious balcony with a view of the Aqua Park.
