Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the sightseeing of the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 am, a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning trip to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3).
Trip to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, visit to Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.

Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1, 2, 3) and the Karnak Temple (1, 2, 3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting in winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z), with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony or seating area, but instead a non-opening window.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.
Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot drinks. For lunch and dinner, two soft drinks as well as a small bottle of water per person are included.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km away from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel, in a prime location, is situated directly on a 600-meter-long white sandy beach and offers the perfect conditions for swimming. The offshore house reef offers ideal opportunities and conditions for snorkeling to explore the beautiful and colorful underwater world of the Red Sea.

Facilities

The completely renovated resort has 869 spacious rooms distributed over several buildings. The hotel is also equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Culinary well-being is provided by six buffet restaurants and two snack restaurants (Asian, Oriental, Italian, seafood, steakhouse, etc.) as well as five bars.
The generously and friendly designed outdoor area features 20 pools with 10 integrated children's pools and a separate children's pool (three of which can be heated in winter) as well as the Adults Aqua Park Tower with six slides. Deluxe double room sea view

The deluxe double rooms are identical in size and equipment to the deluxe double rooms with sea view, but do not have a sea view (DD2/DD3/1DD). Additionally bookable with orientation to the sea side (X2M/X1M) or with garden view (DDA).

Splash room Aqua Park view

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² in size and consist of two rooms with connecting door (one bedroom with king-size bed and one with twin beds). The rooms feature two bathrooms with shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, dressing area, minibar (water daily free of charge), and spacious balcony with view of the Aqua Park.

The deluxe family rooms are approx. 55 m² in size and have one double bed and two twin beds, which are separated by an optical room divider. The rooms have garden view (2DF).
