Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursdays.
The itinerary may change depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon flight is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, the ship sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterward, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos features a total of 67 cabins spread across three decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style. Refreshing drinks are provided by two bars, one located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also provides plenty of loungers for relaxation, as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with a bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

The fully refurbished resort features 869 spacious rooms spread across several buildings. The hotel is also equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Culinary needs are catered to by six buffet restaurants and two snack restaurants (Asian, Oriental, Italian, Seafood, Steakhouse, etc.) as well as five bars.

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² in size and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds).
