Location

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel of the renowned Jaz Hotel Group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is about 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The aqua park is about 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. Culinary diversity is provided not only by the show cooking in the hotel restaurant but also by the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi.
In the beautifully and extensively designed garden area, there is a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The pleasantly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily free refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. Daily a large bottle of water in the room (free of charge).
Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU), or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
For single occupancy, Type B (DEB) is also available at a special price and limited quota.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 sqm). The sleeping area is visually separated by a curtain.
Also bookable with pool view (FUP) or sea side (FY2) for an extra charge.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms, with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.
Also bookable as a Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Suites Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
Also bookable with pool view (FPD) for an extra charge.

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms. The Junior Suites are 56 sqm. They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.

Main restaurant "Al Masry" breakfast from 7 AM to 10 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (summer) or 6 PM to 9 PM (winter) buffet style. Various snacks at "Al Sakkala" from 12 PM to 5 PM, and various snacks at the "Aqua" restaurant from 12:30 PM to 4 PM. Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to the West Bank of Luxor to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three onboard bars. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking view of the Nile landscape.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may not have a French balcony or seating area but a non-opening window.
