Location

The hotel, built in Moroccan style by the renowned Jaz Hotel group, is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars, which invite you to stroll. The Aqua Park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden complex and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings in the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary variety.
In the beautifully and spaciously designed garden area, you will find the pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 sq m and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities (daily free refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. Daily a large bottle of water in the room (free of charge).
Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU), or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
For single occupancy, type B (DEB) is also available at a special price and limited availability.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 sq m). The sleeping area is visually separated by a curtain.
Also bookable with pool view (FUP) or sea side (FY2) for an additional charge.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 sq m) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.
Also bookable as a Deluxe Double Room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Room Deluxe (2DF) has the same amenities as the Family Suite Superior. The children's sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sq m) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer, with the same amenities as the Double Superior, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites are 56 sq m. They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.

Main restaurant "Al Masry" breakfast from 7-10 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm and dinner from 6:30-9:30 pm (summer) or 6-9 pm (winter) buffet style. Lunch with various snacks at "Al Sakkala" from 12-5 pm and various snacks at the "Aqua" restaurant from 12:30-4 pm. Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. Starting in Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sq m). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sq m and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite
