Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional balloon trip (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then there is an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Sailing to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet style. Drinks are at an additional charge.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore performances.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar and safe.
The cabins are also available for single use (K1 or KA1).

Budget Cabins

The budget cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel belonging to the renowned Jaz Hotel Group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approximately 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The aqua park is about 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

Nestled in beautiful gardens, the Jaz Makadina features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary diversity.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden complex includes a pool area with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The tastefully furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily free refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. A large bottle of water is provided daily in the room (free of charge).
Also available as Pool View (DSP), Side Sea View (D2S), Sea View (DMU) or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
Single occupancy is also available as Type B (DEB) at a special price and limited availability.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and have an additional sitting/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also available at an extra charge with pool view (FUP) or sea side (FY2).

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms but are more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also available as Double Deluxe (DD2). In this room, the sitting/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
Also available with pool view for an extra charge (FPD).

Junior Suite with Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs, with the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms. The Junior Suites are 56 m². They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.
