Travel information

Combination package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (can be booked optionally on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning journey to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins distributed across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available to you. From winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), sitting area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
The balconies in the Royal Suites also include a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise feature the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no sitting area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony or sitting area, instead featuring a non-opening window.

This resort, built in Arabian style, impresses with its proximity to a beautiful 900m long private sandy beach. The Fort Arabesque is situated on the enchanting shores of Makadi Bay, approx. 30 km south of Hurghada. The center of Hurghada with many restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities is about 30 km away. Hurghada airport is approx. 30 km away.

Facilities

The stylish Fort Arabesque hotel complex is divided into three areas: the Fort Arabesque Resort, the Westbay (Adults-only), and the Fort Arabesque The Villas (Adults-only).
The Fort Arabesque Resort features 330 comfortable rooms, a reception, an elevator, and various shops. Culinary specialties are offered in the buffet restaurant. Various bars, such as the lobby bar "Red Rocks," provide refreshment. In the well-kept outdoor area, you will find six pools (three can be heated in winter) and two children's pools.
The Westbay Adults Only (16+) is equipped with 247 rooms and suites, an elevator, and a reception. A buffet restaurant and a Mexican corner, the "Sunset Bar," "Lobby Bar," and "Windbreaker Bar" cater to your physical well-being. An adults-only pool (heated in winter) is available in the outdoor area. The Westbay also features a Greek Seafood restaurant (reservation required).

The superior sea view double rooms (DMU) are comfortably equipped with bath/shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, safe, satellite TV, minibar (water included), coffee/tea maker, individually adjustable air conditioning, and a balcony with sea view.

Family Room

The family rooms (DF2) are more spacious with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms; they are located on the ground floor and have garden views.

The deluxe family rooms (2DF) are equipped like the family rooms; these feature a large room (approx. 42 m²) with a king-size bed and a loft bed for children. The rooms have a view of the Jungle Pool.

Deluxe Double Room (HRGB21)

The deluxe double rooms (DD2, approx. 43m²) are similar in amenities to the double rooms, but feature a king-size bed and a single bed, which are visually separated by a wooden partition wall.

Villa

The villas (V12) are spacious (approx. 55m²) and feature a separate bedroom with its own bathroom and a separate living room. Furthermore, the villas have direct pool access (heated in winter) and a sun terrace with deck chairs, couch, and parasols, a luxurious bathroom with rain shower, fine Egyptian cotton bed linen, LCD flat screen with international channels, minibar (daily replenishment with water, soft drinks, and beer), tea and coffee making facilities, and free Wi-Fi.

Villa 2 Bedroom

The 2-bedroom villas (VB3) offer plenty of space (approx. 91m²) and, with otherwise the same amenities as the villas (V12), are equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and direct pool access (heated in winter) via the terrace.
The minimum age for children in the 2-bedroom villas is 16 years.

Grand Family Suite (HRGB21)

The Grand Family Suite is approx. 51m² in size and features two separate bedrooms. One bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the second bedroom with two single beds. The Grand Family Suite features one bathroom as well as a terrace or balcony (GR2).

West Bay Junior Suite Adults Only (HRGB21)

The "West Bay" Junior Suites are only bookable for adults and are approx. 61-75 m² in size. Amenities include two double beds, a seating area, and a bathroom with a shower or bathtub (JS2/JS3).

Apartment (HRGB21)

The apartments are equipped with two bedrooms, one of which has a king-size bed and the second with two single beds. Additionally, the apartment features two bathrooms and a large terrace (AP).

Villa Sea View Swim Up (HRGB21)

The villas (M12) are approx. 61 m² in size and are equipped with a living area and a separate bedroom, as well as a bathroom with a shower and access to the pool (heated in winter). The villas feature a terrace with sea view.
The minimum age for children in the villas is 16 years.
