Travel Information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on MS Kleos and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Felucca sailing on the Nile in the afternoon (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation, as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 sqm) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.
