Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant with delicious dishes ensures your culinary well-being. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Special Offer Cabins

The Special Offer Cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Cabin for 1 person

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The popular Hotel Iberotel Makadi Beach is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows to the shore in some places and offers excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story residential units, extending along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting lobby with a reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary well-being, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjoining children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, and a pool bar and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.

Double Superior

The Double Superior rooms (DSU) are tastefully and comfortably furnished (approx. 36 m²) with shower/WC, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, tiled floor, satellite TV, telephone, safe, upon arrival apples, cookies, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool view.
Also available as Pool View (DSP), Partial Sea View (DSS), Sea View (DMU) or for single use (DEU/ESP/1SD/EMU).

Double Room Superior Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single use (MSE).

Junior Suite Partial Sea View

The Junior Suites (J2S) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are larger (approx. 50 m²) with a living area and coffee machine, and a partial sea view.
