Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by hot air balloon (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

Situated directly on the beautiful, long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay is the popular hotel Iberotel Makadi Beach. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef reaches the shore in places and offers excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental food in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious resort with two-story residential units that stretch along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting reception hall with lobby and reception, Fun Pub, and shops and boutiques. For your culinary needs, there is a main restaurant and two à-la-carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à-la-carte restaurants are available to guests at Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the spacious outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, and a pool bar and pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge at the beach and pool.

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the superior double rooms and have sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
