Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The holiday package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre-stay and post-stay at the hotel depend on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon journey to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning journey to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).

5th Day:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Amenities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins, distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner at your disposal. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sundeck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, but instead have a non-opening window.

The best time of the year can be experienced in the idyllic grounds of the Pickalbatros Palace Resort. This spacious holiday resort is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach. Deeper water can be easily reached via a jetty. Only 18 km from the center of Hurghada and about 11 km from the airport, a place of relaxation awaits you here.

The holiday day can be designed with a variety of activities: After intensive experiences outdoors, the wellness area ensures deepest relaxation. International delicacies in the various restaurants round off the culinary experience. The attractive upscale hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, in which the total of 621 rooms are distributed. The hotel offers a reception in the luxurious reception area with a spacious lobby, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Moroccan and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, as well as an oriental pub delight the palate. In the spacious outdoor area, there is a large, lagoon-like pool landscape with various pools (1 of which is heated from November to April), a swim-up bar, as well as a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (1 heatable children's pool).
