Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stays at the hotel depend on your arrival date and the embarkation date. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to see the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) and the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The tastefully decorated cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

Economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

Same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend the best time of the year in the beautiful grounds of the Albatros Palace Resort. This very spacious holiday resort is located directly on its own private sandy beach with a house reef. Here you can experience the beauty of the Red Sea while diving and snorkeling. The center of Hurghada is about 18 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

Shape your holiday with numerous activities, relax in the wellness area, and enjoy international delicacies in the various restaurants. This attractive upscale hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, housing a total of 621 rooms. The hotel offers a luxurious lobby with reception, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants with Asian and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub await you.
