Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all inter-transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6th Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
8th Day:

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend the best time of the year in the beautiful grounds of the Albatros Palace Resort. This very spacious holiday complex is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach with a house reef. Here you can experience the beauty of the Red Sea while diving and snorkeling. It is about 18 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Amenities

Organize your holiday day with numerous activities, relax afterward in the wellness area, and enjoy international delicacies in the various restaurants. The appealing high-end hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, in which the total of 621 rooms are spread. In the luxurious reception area, the hotel offers a reception with a spacious lobby, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants with Asian and Italian cuisine, among others, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub delight the palate. The price of 75 € for adults and 38 € for children up to 11 years includes not only daily free entry including snacks and soft drinks but also the transfer from/to the accommodation hotel.
