Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship always follows the program for seven days. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
After breakfast in the morning, excursion to Thebes West
to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo where you have free time.
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3)
Then an opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast package is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.
Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 7:
At 5 am, excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain has a total of 77 exterior cabins distributed across various decks. It also features a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sun deck with a pool and bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The Double Rooms Deluxe Lagoon View (D2L) have the same amenities as the double rooms but offer a view of the lagoon or partial sea view and have a balcony or terrace. Also available for single occupancy (1DL) and as type I (DLI).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 50 m²) and additionally feature an open sleeping area (maisonette) and a balcony overlooking the lagoon or pool.
