Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected lasts for 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on board the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers plenty of loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Accommodation

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with a bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished lobby welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating; safes are available free of charge. Culinary highlights include the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and two à la carte restaurants offering an exquisite selection of seafood and oriental specialties. The double rooms Deluxe Sea View (DDM) are equipped like the double rooms, but additionally offer sea view and a balcony or terrace. Sparkling wine upon arrival. Also available for single use (DM1).
