Travel information

Combo package featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue journey from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
After breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Opportunity to visit a Nubian village, nestled between the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:

The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites guests to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the numerous peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming town center of El Gouna, which offers a wealth of restaurants and shops, is approximately 1.5 km away. The scenic Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive marina with a variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities, can be reached in approx. 3.5 km. The resort is located about 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and approx. 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

The spacious Mediterranean-style hotel complex comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously distributed across seven different buildings.
