Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days in accordance with the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival Day and the embarkation Day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursdays.
The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation Day.
Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A balloon trip is possible at 5 AM (optionally bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins, spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an imposing and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one of which is on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. On the sun deck, there are also enough loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. Furthermore, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin single occupancy

Same facilities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Spend a wonderful holiday with direct beach access in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada, and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Elegant hotel lobby with large chandelier, blue chairs, and panoramic windows overlooking city views.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms, which are distributed across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-international, "Culina"-seafood, "Sidi Ali"-oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques are available. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape extends over a total of 9 swimming pools (some heatable in winter), four of which have an integrated children's area, plus a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, which ensure plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View, but larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same facilities as the Bungalow Garden View, have an additional sea view, and are located in the main building.

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same facilities as the Bungalow Garden View, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.

The Suites Sea View (S2M) have the same facilities as the Bungalow Garden View, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and are equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a garden view (DD2/DD3). Optionally also bookable without a specific view (DDA), with pool view and slightly smaller at approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or with sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
