The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked additionally on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed with a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and refresh yourself with cool drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) than the suites with otherwise the same amenities, and may not have a French balcony and a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The center of Hurghada is about 17 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

An elegant hotel lobby with chandelier, blue chairs, and city views through large windows.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. The upper floors can be easily reached by five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental Cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The outdoor area features a pool landscape with a total of 9 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and one children's pool, plus 13 slides for adults and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Superior Double Room Pool View

The Superior Double Rooms Pool View (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 36 sqm) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings. Also available with sea view (DMU).

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 sqm, DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, additionally feature sea view, and are located in the main building. Also available for single use (DEM).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 48 sqm), consist of 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a balcony or terrace. Additionally bookable as Type I rooms (DFI) with special pricing and limited availability. Also available for an extra charge with pool view (FP2).

The Suites Sea View (S2M) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 48 sqm) with a living room-bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Breakfast buffet from 7-10 AM, late breakfast from 7-10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner in summer from 6:30-9:30 PM, in winter from 6:30-8:30 PM. Various snacks are always available to satisfy hunger. Coffee/tea, cake, and pastries in the afternoon. Ice cream for adults and children from 1-5 PM.
