Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking views of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony or seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort, part of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The center of Hurghada is about 17 km away, and the airport is approx. 11 km away.

Facilities

An elegant hotel lobby with chandelier, blue chairs, and city views through large windows.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached by five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - international, "Culina" - seafood, "Sidi Ali" - oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The outdoor area features a pool landscape with a total of 9 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 36 sqm) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 sqm, DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, additionally offer sea view, and are located in the main building.
