The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. Route Description

The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Beach Albatros Resort

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort, part of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and be enchanted. The holiday complex is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

This particularly family-friendly complex has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. The upper floors can be easily reached by five elevators. The reception hall offers a reception desk and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, there is a pool landscape with a total of 9 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and one children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The Bungalow Garden View (BG2) rooms are approximately 30 sqm and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floors, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and a balcony or terrace.

The Double Room Sea View (approx. 24 sqm, DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but additionally offer sea view and are located in the main building.

Economy Double Room

The Economy Double Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, are distributed throughout the entire hotel complex, and have a limited availability.
