Travel information

Combined package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the flight must arrive in Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must depart from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.

Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, distributed over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Saver cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single cabin

Same features as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend a wonderful holiday with direct beach access at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on a fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The center of Hurghada is about 17 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

This particularly family-friendly complex has 678 rooms distributed across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be reached comfortably via five elevators. The lobby area offers a reception and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" – Asian, "Le Marche" – international, "Culina" – seafood, "Sidi Ali" – oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques are available. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape stretches across 9 swimming pools (partly heated in winter), four of which have an integrated children's area and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are provided free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The bungalows with garden view (BG2) are approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiles, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.

The bungalows are identical in size and facilities to the bungalows with garden view, but the view may differ (BU/B2A/B1B).

The Double Superior pool view rooms (DSP) are equipped like the bungalow garden view, but larger (approx. 36 m²) and feature pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

The double rooms with sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same features as the bungalow garden view but additionally feature sea view and are located in the main building.

Super-saver room

The super-saver rooms (SSZ) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have limited availability.

The family rooms (DF2) have the same features as the bungalow garden view but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a balcony or terrace.

Suite sea view

The suites with sea view (S2M) have the same features as the bungalow garden view but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a garden view (DD2/DD3). Optionally bookable without a specific view (DDA), with pool view and slightly smaller (approx. 24 m², DPB), on the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or with sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
