Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all transfers between services. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise second, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo, where you have free time at your disposal.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast box is included.

Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship of the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 exterior cabins spread across various decks. Furthermore, there is a main restaurant, a 24-hour reception, a lounge bar, a hairdresser (on request), a souvenir shop, and a sundeck with a pool and bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Beach Albatros Resort

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on a fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

This particularly family-friendly resort features 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via five elevators. The lobby area offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-international, "Culina"-seafood, "Sidi Ali"-oriental cuisine, an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Outside, the pool landscape consists of a total of 9 swimming pools (some can be heated in winter), four of which have an integrated children's area, a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, providing plenty of water fun. Bungalow Garden View

The Bungalow Garden View (BG2) rooms are approx. 30 m² in size and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floor, air conditioning, telephone, safe (included), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Additionally bookable as Type I rooms (BGI/DEI) at a special price and limited availability.

The bungalows are identical in size and facilities to the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but the view may vary (BU/B2A/B1B).

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms but are larger (approx. 36 m²) and feature a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annexes.

The Double Room Sea View (approx. 24 m², DM) has the same facilities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms and additionally features a sea view and is located in the main building.
Also bookable for single use (DEM).

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver rooms (SSZ) have the same facilities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, are located throughout the hotel grounds, and have limited availability.

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² in size and are equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace with a garden view (DD2/DD3). The price of 75 € for adults and 38 € for children up to 11 years old includes, besides daily free admission, snacks, soft drinks, and the transfer from/to the overnight hotel.
