Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary

Embarkation: Thursdays.
The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5:00 AM (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning trip to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Refreshing drinks are provided by two bars, one located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also has plenty of sun loungers for relaxation, as well as a generously sized pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. Furthermore, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin Single occupancy

Same features as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 m²) and with only one bed.

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location at the popular Beach Albatros Resort, part of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is situated directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The centre of Hurghada is about 17 km away, and the airport is approx. 11 km away.

Elegant hotel lobby with large chandelier, blue chairs, and panoramic windows overlooking city views.
This particularly family-friendly complex has 678 rooms distributed across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be reached comfortably via five lifts. The lobby features a reception and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants are available ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-International, "Culina"-Seafood, "Sidi Ali"-Oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The outdoor area includes a pool landscape with a total of 9 swimming pools (partially heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas, a children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, providing plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) have the same features as the Garden View bungalows but are larger (approx. 36 m²) and feature a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

The Double Room Sea View (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same features as the Garden View bungalows, plus sea view, and are located in the main building.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a garden view (DD2/DD3). Optionally bookable without a special view (DDA), with pool view and slightly smaller at approx. 24 m² (DPB), on the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or with sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).

The price of 75 € for adults and 38 € for children up to 11 years includes daily free admission, snacks, soft drinks, and transfer to/from the hotel.
