Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three onboard bars. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting in Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests onboard. To make your vacation perfect, relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
On the balcony of the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm in size and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. Hurghada city center is about 17 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

An elegant hotel lobby with chandelier, blue chairs, and city views through large windows.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. The upper floors can be comfortably reached by five elevators. The reception area offers a reception desk and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in Summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The outdoor area features a pool landscape with a total of 9 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas, and one children's pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms but are larger (approx. 36 sqm) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annexes.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 sqm, DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, additionally offer a sea view, and are located in the main building.
