Travel information

Combined package including a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first followed by the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursdays.
The itinerary may shift depending on the embarkation day.
Itinerary:
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
At 5 a.m., a balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
6th Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship sails to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
8th Day:
Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread over three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style. Refreshing drinks are provided by two bars, one located on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also has plenty of sun loungers for necessary relaxation as well as a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) feature a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. Additionally, all cabins have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 m²) and with only one bed.

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location in the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada, and about 11 km to the airport.

Elegant hotel lobby with large chandelier, blue chairs, and panoramic windows overlooking city views.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms, distributed in a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached via the five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-International, "Culina"-Seafood, "Sidi Ali"-Oriental cuisine), an à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques are available. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with a luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape stretches over a total of 9 swimming pools (partially heatable in winter), four of which have an integrated children's area and a kids' pool, 13 slides for adults, and 9 slides for children, which ensure plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Double Superior pool view

The double superior pool view rooms (DSP) are equipped like the bungalow garden view, but larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

Double room sea view

The double room sea view (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, additionally feature sea view, and are located in the main building.
Also bookable for single occupancy (DEM).

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, are distributed throughout the whole resort, and have a limited allotment.

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.

The suites sea view (S2M) have the same equipment as the bungalow garden view, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living/bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.

Double room deluxe (HRGA05)

These double rooms are approx. 28 m² large and equipped with air conditioning, TV, shower/WC, and balcony or terrace with a view of the garden (DD2/DD3). Optionally also bookable without a special view (DDA), with pool view, slightly smaller with approx. 24 m² (DPB), towards the sea side (approx. 24 m², X2M), or sea view (approx. 24 m², DDM).
