Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always follows the program for seven days. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Departure.

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 sqm) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 sqm) and with only one bed.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own sandy lagoon beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Enjoy a wonderful family holiday and experience Egyptian hospitality. The center is about 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approximately 10 km away.

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped gardens to the reception building and can be navigated by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand-new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aquapark with 18 different slides for all ages (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your holiday. Double Superior Lagoon View "Chillout"

The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms, but are larger (approx. 45 sqm) and have a lagoon view. On the lawn in front of the residential building, there are Bali beds, offering an exclusive chillout option for guests in these rooms. Also available for single use (SL1).

Double Room Superior Sea View

The Double Rooms Superior Sea View (DMU) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior Pool View, but with a sea view.

Double Room Deluxe (HRGA07)

The Double Rooms Deluxe are equivalent to the double rooms and are available with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites are approximately 65 sqm and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general amenities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace (S2M).

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30-8:30 PM as a buffet. Late dinner from 10 PM to midnight. Lunch snacks from 12-5 PM. Coffee, pastries, and cake from 10 AM to midnight. Ice cream for children from 10 AM to 10 PM.
