Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the arrival flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise follows, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) including a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception area and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a comfortable lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sandy beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The center is approx. 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A saltwater lagoon runs from the beach through the spacious and beautifully designed garden area to the reception building and can be accessed by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools with an integrated children's area (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), sun terrace, and pool bar. A special highlight for families is the Aqua Park, which opened in summer 2026. With a total of 14 water slides, it offers varied bathing fun for young and old. Various fast slides are available for teenagers and adults, while younger guests can enjoy a separate Aqua Park with age-appropriate water attractions. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach. Unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked if required.

The family rooms (DF2) are approx. 60 m² with the same amenities as double rooms and feature 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace.

Double Deluxe (HRGA07)

The double deluxe rooms correspond to the double rooms and can be booked with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), or sea view (DDM).

The suites are approx. 65 m² and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. General suite amenities include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, as well as a balcony or terrace (S2M).
