Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Route

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked additionally on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three onboard bars. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests onboard. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike views of the Nile landscape.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
On the balcony of the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller than the suites (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities, but possibly without a French balcony and seating area, featuring a non-opening window.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own lagoon sand beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Enjoy a wonderful family holiday and experience Egyptian hospitality. The city center is about 18 km away (limousine service for a fee). Hurghada Airport is about 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully designed garden area to the reception building and is navigable by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish lobby with a reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features three swimming pools with integrated children's areas (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand-new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aquapark with 18 different slides for all ages (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your holiday. The cheerfully furnished rooms (D, DB) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (soft drinks and water included), kettle, and safe, as well as a balcony or terrace and are approx. 25-30 m² in size.

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are approx. 60m² in size, and feature 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace.

Deluxe Double Room (HRGA07)

The Deluxe Double Rooms correspond to the Double Rooms and are bookable with garden view (DD2/DD3), pool view (DPB), and sea view (DDM).

Suite Sea View (HRGA07)

The suites are approx. 65m² in size and feature a living area and a separate bedroom. The general amenities of the suites include Wi-Fi, telephone, air conditioning, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a balcony or terrace (S2M).
