Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and the Nile cruise afterwards, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening, departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approximately 19 m² in size and feature bathrooms with a bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

Economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a hotel-owned beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach by the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling there. The center of El Gouna is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is about 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in the Nubian village style, the resort delights with a cozy atmosphere characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting lobby area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the property. Outside, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which can be heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for younger guests, three of which can be heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water games. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's own beach. A main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars, provide for your physical well-being.

Comfort double room (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle and coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden views. Can also be booked for single occupancy (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms feature pool/garden or lagoon views. Can also be booked for single occupancy (PR1).

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior double room

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and coffee/tea making facilities.

The rooms (DSB) have similar amenities to the Superior double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 35 m²). The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (07-10:00), lunch (12-14:30), and dinner (18:30-21:00) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers tea time with various snacks from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Several specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 a.m. buffet), lunch (11-15:00 à la carte for a fee), and evening (18-21:00 à la carte for a fee, reservation required). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12-15:00 à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (18:30-21:00 à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of different specialties (18:30-21:00 à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot drinks, and local alcoholic beverages are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities. Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive packages to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels without any additional costs for food (excluding drinks).
Depending on the duration of the stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights.
