Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit of the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit of the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening drive to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Further journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Drive to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped lagoon of 1,500 meters with its own stretch of beach in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long pier extends into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is about 350 meters away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in a Nubian village style, the resort impresses with its cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and the hotel's own beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully decorated rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, and coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also bookable for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms have pool/garden or lagoon views. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 m²) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.

The rooms (DSB) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 35 m²). The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Furthermore, several specialty restaurants are available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet style), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee), and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at midday (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are available to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities. The All-inclusive offer is valid daily until midnight.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from a 3 or 4-star hotel can dine in establishments of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
