Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon trip (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then, continue to Aswan, where you will spend the night.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Aswan Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village situated between the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style. Drinks are extra.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore shows.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 meters away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Built in the Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area includes four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water games. Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm). The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.
