Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all inter-transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the most affordable available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the inbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 10 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) and visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Departure from Esna.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a hotel-owned beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out onto the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling from there. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Facilities

Built in a Nubian village style, the resort captivates with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas. Outdoors, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which can be heated in winter. There are also four children's pools, three of which can be heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water features. Sun loungers, bath towels, and parasols are provided free of charge at the pools and at the hotel's own beach. Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle as well as coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool view and garden view. Also bookable for single occupancy (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same equipment as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms have a pool/garden or lagoon view. Also bookable for single occupancy (PR1).

The cozy family rooms have the same equipment features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as requested. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Additionally, the restaurant offers teatime with various snacks from 4 pm to 5 pm. Furthermore, various specialty restaurants are available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 am buffet-style), lunch (11 am-3 pm à la carte for a fee), and evening (6-9 pm à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12-3 pm à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 pm à la carte) as well as "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 pm à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – without any additional costs for food (drinks excluded).
