MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and refreshing drinks from the three onboard bars. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests onboard. To make your vacation perfect, relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.

Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Built in the Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful resort spans nine small islands, on which the various hotel buildings are spread out. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly running boat and bus shuttle. Hurghada Airport is approx. 40 km away.

Double Room Superior with Pool or Lagoon View

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and are approx. 38 m² in size. The rooms feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's own lagoon. Also bookable as a double room for single occupancy (DEU).

Double Room Premium with Partial Sea View

The rooms (P2D) feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, safe, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a partial sea view and have been renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The newly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the first row of the beach. Also bookable for single occupancy (BF1).

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms are similar in amenities to the double rooms Superior, but do not have a walk-in shower and are larger at approx. 42m².

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7-10:30 a.m.) and dinner (6-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form. Lunch is served in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the respective open bar. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily refill of soft drinks).

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants in other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more.
