Experience the legendary beauty of Egypt – on an unforgettable Nile cruise full of history, culture, and breathtaking views, followed by time out by the Red Sea. The Nile cruise on board the MS Lady Carol always departs on Thursdays, with hotel accommodation in the lowest available room category. All transfers and the classic excursion package are included in the price.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is provided for seven days according to the program. The one-night pre-stay and six-night post-stay take place in the booked hotel. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The economy cabins (EK2) are furnished like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel is in a first-class location, right on a 600-meter-long white sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for swimming. The offshore house reef offers ideal opportunities and conditions for snorkeling to get to know the beautiful and colorful underwater world of the Red Sea.

Facilities

The fully renovated resort has 869 spacious rooms, which are spread over several buildings. In addition, the hotel is equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. Six buffet restaurants and two snack restaurants (Asian, oriental, Italian, seafood, steakhouse, etc.) and five bars provide for your well-being.
The generously and friendly designed outdoor area features 20 pools with 10 integrated children's pools and a separate children's pool (three of which can be heated in winter) as well as the Adults Aqua Park Tower with six slides. Splash Aqua Park View Room

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 106 m² and consist of two rooms with a connecting door (one bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds). These family rooms consist of 2 Deluxe double room category rooms separated by a connecting door and have a pool view.
