Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Steigenberger Minerva and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation takes place on Thursdays.
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West
to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Habu Temple (1,2,3).
Then continue to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and travel to Kom Ombo, where you will have free time.
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon, Felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3)
Afterwards, opportunity for a camel ride (3) on the way to visiting a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3). Breakfast box is included.

Then continue via Edfu and Esna to Luxor.

The Nile cruise ship from the renowned Steigenberger hotel chain features a total of 77 exterior cabins distributed across various decks. Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with direct beach access at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The holiday resort is located directly on a fine-grained sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Amenities

This particularly family-friendly resort features 678 rooms distributed across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be reached comfortably via five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants are available ("L'Asiatique"-Asian, "Le Marche"-international, "Culina"-seafood, "Sidi Ali"-oriental cuisine), an à-la-carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), diverse bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, delights with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Bungalow Garden View

The Bungalow Garden View (BG2) rooms are approximately 30 m² in size and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floors, air conditioning, telephone, safe (included), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
