Travel information

Package product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival Day and the embarkation Day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Saturdays
1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to a Nubian village (3).

5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.

6th Day:
Morning after breakfast, leisure time. You will have a Day to relax and enjoy the ship while cruising downstream to Luxor.
Afterwards, opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

7th Day:
At 5 am, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship has a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship has a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers the opportunity to keep fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Also enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² in size and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (EEX).

Suite

The suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive cabins but are larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the Main Deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same facilities as the Executive cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar equipment elements to the Executive cabin and also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also has a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal suites are located on all three decks.

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a beautiful saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. It is only a few minutes' walk to the small centre "Downtown" with its coloured arcades, restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops (also accessible by a hand-operated ferry). Various shopping facilities are also in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island", 700 m away. At the beach, a jetty approx. 400 m long, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads over the reef into deeper water. Explore the breathtaking coral reef from here while snorkelling. The complex is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. It is about 40 km to Hurghada airport.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable from 16 years) impresses with a very special style and consists of a three-storey main building as well as several outbuildings, over which the 144 elegantly furnished rooms are distributed. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with reception. The stylish restaurant "La Cantina" including an outdoor terrace with a view of the lagoon has a live cooking station and provides you with delicious specialities. The Double rooms lagoon view (L2Z) have the same facilities as the Double rooms, but have a balcony, terrace, or French balcony and pool or lagoon view.
