Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to the West Bank of Thebes to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3); breakfast box is included.

Morning after breakfast, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship while sailing downstream to Luxor.
Then opportunity for a Sound and Light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship features a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread across three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. The ship also offers the opportunity to stay fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle and upper decks.

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins but are larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.

Saver Cabin

Features same equipment as the Executive Cabins but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S), while similar in equipment to the Executive Cabin, are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) and also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

The family-friendly SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort impresses with an ideal location. The hotel complex is located directly on its own 400 m long, gently sloping sandy beach. Enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea and the magnificent sunsets here. It is approx. 20 km to the city center of Hurghada. Hurghada International Airport is approx. 15 km away.

Facilities

The beautiful 5-star complex impresses with its oriental style and offers guests a 24-hour reception service as well as various shops. The main restaurant with daily changing theme buffets and four à la carte specialty restaurants ("Manzoku" Asian, "Frida" Mexican, "Manohar" Indian, and "La Terraza" Spanish) spoil guests with a rich selection of delicious dishes. With the "Roots Diet & Light" concept, gluten-free, lactose-free, or low-carb dishes can be selected. The diverse offer is complemented by six bars that provide refreshments and snacks. The family suites (DF2), with the same equipment as the double rooms, are slightly larger (approx. 52 m²) and feature an additional living/bedroom with two sofa beds and a garden view. The rooms are equipped with a connecting door.
