Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship features a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, a lounge bar, and a small bazaar. The ship also offers a fitness area to keep you in shape. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive Cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive Cabins are located on the middle and upper decks.
Also bookable for single occupancy (EEX).

Suite

The Suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive Cabins, but are larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with Nile view is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, middle deck, and upper deck.
Also bookable for single occupancy (S1).

Economy Cabin

With the same amenities as the Executive Cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S), with similar amenities to the Executive Cabin, are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) and also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

The exclusive Steigenberger Golf Resort is located on a peninsula, surrounded by a dreamlike lagoon with its own hotel lagoon beach and the spacious 18-hole golf course. The turquoise lagoon landscape invites you to rest and relax. The famous Zeytouna Beach on Zeytouna Island, which leads into the crystal-clear water with a 400 m long jetty, is only about 2 km away. The center of El Gouna with numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, which invite you to stroll and linger, is about 1 km away. It is about 30 km to the center of Hurghada and about 35 km to Hurghada Airport.

The Steigenberger Golf Resort was extensively renovated in the spring of 2023 and has been shining in new splendor ever since. The exclusive hotel consists of a main building and several side buildings. The spacious complex was built in Nubian style and features 268 modern rooms. The property offers its guests an elegant lobby with reception and seating areas. In the spacious and beautifully designed garden, there are two main pools as well as a children's pool (one of the two main pools heated in winter, children's pool heated in winter) with a sun terrace and an inviting pool bar. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and bath towels are available to guests at the pool as well as at the lagoon beach free of charge. Three restaurants and six bars fulfill your culinary wishes. These include the "Fairways Restaurant" buffet restaurant with changing themed buffets and a variety of international specialties, the "La Rotisserie" with international dishes, and the "Harumaki Restaurant" with Japanese cuisine (reservation required). Further facilities of the resort include an 18-hole golf course popular among golfers, as well as spa, wellness, and fitness areas.

Premium Double Room Lagoon or Pool View

The rooms (PPD) are 54 m² and modernly furnished. They have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, safe, and a balcony or terrace with lagoon, pool, or golf course view.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (72 m²) and additionally have an integrated living area with a table, two chairs, and two sofa beds, and have a view of the garden, lagoon, golf course, or pool.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience in numerous different Dine-Around venues. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – completely at no extra cost for food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights.
