Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning after breakfast, visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.

Day 6:
Morning after breakfast, leisure time. You will have a Day to relax and enjoy the ship while cruising downstream to Luxor.
Then, opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

At 5 AM excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile cruise ship features a total of 40 beautiful exterior cabins and suites spread over three decks. All cabins and suites have a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. In addition, the ship offers a fitness area to keep fit. The pool on the sun deck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with breathtaking views of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (EEX).

Suite

The suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive cabins but are larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the Main Deck, the middle deck, and the upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (S1).

Economy Cabin

Same facilities as the Executive cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities to the Executive cabin and are also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a private hotel beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling from there. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Built in the Nubian village style, the resort delights with a cozy flair characterized by towers, domes, and arches, featuring 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread over several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the resort. In the outdoor area, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which can be heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for younger guests, three of which can be heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, bath towels, and parasols are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's own beach. For your culinary needs, there is a main restaurant, four different specialty restaurants, and various bars.

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same facilities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms have a pool/garden or lagoon view. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a generous king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

These rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Superior double rooms. The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:00-14:30), and dinner (18:30-21:00) in buffet form. Additionally, the restaurant offers tea time with various snacks from 16:00-17:00. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (07:30-11:00 in buffet form), lunch (11:00-15:00 à-la-carte for a fee), as well as dinner (18:00-21:00 à-la-carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12:00-15:00 à-la-carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (18:30-21:00 à-la-carte) as well as "Chez Pascal" with a selection of different specialties (18:30-21:00 à-la-carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna
