Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Serenity and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a viewing of the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
3rd Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board and trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continuing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit to a Nubian village (3).

5th Day:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m. opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.

6th Day:
Morning after breakfast, free time. You will have a day to relax and enjoy the ship during the trip downstream to Luxor.
Afterward, opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Amenities

The completely renovated 5-star Nile ship features a total of 40 beautiful outside cabins and suites, distributed across three decks. All cabins and suites feature a balcony. Furthermore, the luxurious ship features a main restaurant, a reception, as well as a lounge bar and a small bazaar. In addition, the ship offers the opportunity to stay fit in the fitness area. The pool on the sundeck invites you to cool off and relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the Nile. Bath towels are provided to guests free of charge.

Executive Cabin

The Executive cabins (KEX) are approx. 20 m² and equipped with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and a balcony (approx. 2 m²).
The Executive cabins are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
Also bookable for single use (EEX).

Suite

The suites (S2) are equipped like the Executive cabins but larger (approx. 27 m²). The beautiful balcony with a view of the Nile is approx. 3 m² and invites you to linger. The suites are located on the main deck, middle deck, and upper deck.

Economy Cabin

With the same amenities as the Executive cabins, but slightly smaller.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (R2S) are more spacious (approx. 34 m²) with similar amenities as the Executive cabin and are also equipped with a balcony of approx. 4 m². It also features a sofa and two armchairs in the integrated living area.
The Royal Suites are located on all three decks.

Location

The Sheraton Miramar Resort, built in the Nubian style, invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel grounds stretch across nine small islands, where the various buildings of the hotel are distributed. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the El Gouna town center with various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly operating boat and bus shuttle. It is approx. 40 km to Hurghada airport.

Amenities

The resort, designed by the famous architect Michael Graves, with 339 rooms, fascinates with its colorful combination of Arab and Nubian style as well as its location in the middle of a beautiful, exotic garden landscape. The comfortable social facilities include a spacious lobby with reception, several well-kept lounge areas, various shops, a hairdresser, and a beauty salon. Let yourself be culinarily pampered by the main restaurant "Miramar" and the two à-la-carte restaurants. Distributed throughout the beautiful grounds are various bars, including the impressive "Miramar Bar," which offers small snacks and drinks. In the outdoor area, guests have access to the large pool landscape (partially heated) with cozy sun terraces. Sun loungers, cushions, parasols, and bath towels are included at the pool and on the beach. The beach with its turquoise blue lagoons invites you to swim. The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) are freshly renovated and have a size of approx. 38 m². The rooms feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, safe, and balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's own lagoon. The main restaurant "Miramar" offers you breakfast (7-10:30 a.m.) as well as dinner (6:30-10 p.m.) in buffet style. Lunch is offered in the "Miramar" or in the "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, coffee are included around the clock at the respective open bar. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily replenishment of soft drinks).
