Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
In the morning at 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable on-site).
Breakfast on board. Then, visit the West Bank with the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterwards, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited there (1,2,3).
Continue towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
4. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.

Continue to Esna.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides for your physical well-being with delicious dishes. Freshly renovated and reopened in 2026, the SUNRISE Azalea Aqua Park Resort is located in the north of Hurghada, directly on the beach. The spacious and wide beach section with its own jetty invites you to linger and explore the underwater world. Hurghada Airport is about 25 kilometers away, the center of Hurghada approx. 16 kilometers.

The schauinsland-reisen-original hotel was extensively renovated in winter 2025/2026 and thus shines in new splendor in the first beach row of Hurghada. The complex has a total of 569 rooms spread across various building areas, including newly built, popular swim-up rooms. The complex offers guests 5 different pools, which are spread out in the complex up to the beach. One of the pools is heatable during the winter months, and one of the pools is for adults only (aged 16 and over). Additionally, the complex offers three children's pools, all of which are heatable. Embedded in the complex, a spacious aqua park offers water fun for young and old: Ten different slides ensure daily sliding fun, and six additional slides are located specifically for smaller guests in the children's area. A total of 6 restaurants in the complex (one of which is for a fee) provide for the culinary experience, as well as three other à-la-carte restaurants located in the adjacent "SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort", which may be used free of charge. A selection of eight different bars (one of which is for a fee, another exclusively for guests aged 16 and over) are available throughout the day. The family suites (F2M, 50m²) are equipped like the superior rooms, but consist of two separate bedrooms, one room with a double bed, one room with two single beds. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony with a side or direct sea view.

Family Suite Swim Up

With the same facilities as the family suite sea view, these rooms have access to a sharing pool (FSU, approx. 48m²).
Please note that your booked room has a sharing pool and there is no dedicated lifeguard there. When booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for supervision yourself.

With the same facilities as the superior double rooms, these rooms (DWU) are 44m² in size and have a terrace with access to the sharing pool.

The spacious Family Jacuzzi Suite (FJZ) with sea view offers plenty of space for the whole family (approx. 80 m²) with two separate bedrooms (1 queen-size bed and 1 twin bedroom). Facilities include a seating area, walk-in closet, bathroom with walk-in shower, and a balcony with a private outdoor Jacuzzi. Furthermore, the suite has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, hairdryer, iron, and HD/LED TV.

Junior Jacuzzi Suite

The spacious Junior Jacuzzi Suite (JJ2) with sea view offers a stylish ambiance for relaxing holidays (approx. 80 m²). The holiday resort features six different restaurants: Heliodoro buffet restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as midnight snacks, Basilico breakfast and dinner in buffet form as well as à la carte in the evening, Manzoku Asian cuisine in the evening in à-la-carte form, Manohar Indian cuisine in the evening in à-la-carte form, Yades Greek cuisine at lunch and dinner in à-la-carte form, Felucca seafood in the evening in à-la-carte form. The à-la-carte restaurants must be reserved on-site; the Felucca restaurant is for a fee.
Furthermore, the following three à-la-carte restaurants are available in the evening at the neighboring hotel "SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort" by reservation: Gamila (Egyptian cuisine), Frida (Mexican cuisine), Elia (Mediterranean cuisine). Snacks are available in the Mayfair Lounge (coffee, tea, and cake) as well as at Burger Boulevard from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Eight different bars, two of them for guests 16 and over and one for a fee, are available at different times, some around the clock.
