Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

Your chosen travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3) and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.

After breakfast in the morning, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

In the early morning at 3:30 AM, there is an option for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), a breakfast package is included.

Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. The nicely furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 35 m²) are equipped with a shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, and a balcony or terrace. Also available for single occupancy (DEU) or Type B (DUB).

The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1 PM to 4 PM, and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (suite booked), you also have the option to have breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". A sparkling wine breakfast is included in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can optionally be taken in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet & Light, Bedouin Restaurant).
