Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be commenced at least one day prior, as a pre-stay overnight is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-stay and post-stay at the hotel depend on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
In the morning at 5 AM, a hot air balloon flight can be booked (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, tour of the West Bank including the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3) and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue toward Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple via motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.

Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.

Continue to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

JAZ Makadina

Location

The hotel, built in Moroccan style, is part of the renowned JAZ hotel group and is located directly on the private, long sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay, with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada airport is approx. 30 km away. The house reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk-Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The aqua park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The JAZ Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings in the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. For culinary variety, the hotel restaurant offers show cooking, complemented by the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi.
In the beautifully and spaciously designed garden area, you will find the pool landscape with two swimming pools (one can be heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, parasols, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and beach.

The comfortably furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily complimentary refill), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), and balcony or terrace. A large bottle of water is provided daily in the room (free of charge).

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same facilities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 m²) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.
Also bookable with pool view (FUP) or towards the sea side (FY2) for an additional charge.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47 m²), and have an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also bookable as a Deluxe double room (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

The Family Room Deluxe (2DF) units have the same facilities as the Family Room Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

The spacious (approx. 56 m²) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, plus a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites are 56 m². They offer a variety of magnificent views and are luxuriously furnished.
