Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

Your selected travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always follows the program for seven days. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and boarding. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board during the journey.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack included.

Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
After breakfast in the morning, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. You can relax and enjoy your vacation on the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar.

Iberotel Makadi Beach

Location

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows to the shore in places, offering excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. The Makadi Souk is just a few meters from the hotel, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting lobby with reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For your culinary enjoyment, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
