Travel information

Combined product featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all transfers between services. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before embarkation is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 a.m. (optional, only bookable on site).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterward, continue to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, continue to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited there (1,2,3).
Continue journey towards Aswan. Dinner on board.

Location

Located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay, the popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is situated. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The house reef grows in places up to the shore and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for a souvenir or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story residential units that stretch along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting entrance hall with lobby and reception, Fun Pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary well-being, there is a main restaurant, two à-la-carte restaurants, and an oriental restaurant. Further à-la-carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the spacious outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjoining children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, and a pool bar and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the beach and pool.
