Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
A hot air balloon ride can be booked in the morning at 5 AM (optional, only bookable locally).
Breakfast on board. Afterward, tour of the West Bank including the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3), Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then cruise onwards to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Breakfast on board. Afterward, cruise onwards to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, you can visit the Kom Ombo Temple (1,2,3).
Cruise continues towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
4th Day:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterward, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter-long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling from there. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Built in the style of a Nubian village, the resort delights with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting lobby area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the property. Outside, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, Aqua Splash pool with four different water slides, Dolphin pool), three of which can be heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little guests, three of which can be heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water features. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's own beach. A main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars, cater to your culinary needs.

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same features as the double rooms but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms offer views of the pool/garden or lagoon. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 m²) are renovated and offer a choice of views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, upon request. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee-making facilities.
Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Superior double rooms. The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:00-14:30), and dinner (18:30-21:00) buffet-style. Additionally, the restaurant offers teatime with various snacks from 16:00-17:00. Different specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (07:30-11:00 buffet-style), lunch (11:00-15:00 à-la-carte for a fee), as well as dinner (18:00-21:00 à-la-carte for a fee, prior reservation required). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12:00-15:00 à-la-carte). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – without any additional costs for the food (excluding drinks).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3- or 4-star hotels can dine in establishments of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
