Travel information

A combined product of the MS Lady Carol Nile cruise and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

The travel offer you selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit of the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit of the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit of the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Further sailing from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

Facilities

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. This is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The stylish boutique hotel is located in the north of El Gouna, directly on the hotel's own sandy beach, far from the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city. Against the backdrop of azure lagoons, wide views, and gentle dunes, the "Casa Cook El Gouna" is the perfect place to enjoy Egypt's vast natural landscapes. Despite its quiet location, the center of El Gouna with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops is only about 3 km away. It is about 30 km to the center of Hurghada and about 40 km to Hurghada Airport.

The rooms are bookable from Winter 2025/26.

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveller Rooms (YTR) are equipped like the double rooms and are only bookable for young adults aged 18-29. The rooms have a limited quota and a special price.

Premium Double Room Garden View

The Premium Double Rooms (2GP, approx. 48 m²) have the same amenities as the double rooms, plus a roof terrace with sunset views and garden view.
Also available with sea view (2PM) and for single occupancy (1GP/1PM).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 42-48 m² in size and have air conditioning, slippers, hairdryer, bathrobes, a bathroom with rain shower/WC, telephone, safe, and a coffee and tea maker. In addition, the suites have a terrace with direct access to the shared pool and offer pool and garden views.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests on half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in establishments of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
Table reservations through the hotel (ideally by 12 PM on the same day) are recommended.
