Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers between services. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursday
The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Voyage to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being, complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single Cabin

Same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Cook's Club El Gouna

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a lovely saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. The small "Downtown" center with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops is only a few minutes' walk away (also accessible by a manually operated ferry). Various shopping options are also found in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island", located 700 m away. At the beach, an approx. 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads over the reef into deeper water. Explore the breathtaking coral reef while snorkeling from here. The complex is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. It is about 40 km to Hurghada Airport.

Amenities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable for ages 16 and up) delights guests with a very special style. It consists of a three-story main building and several side buildings, housing a total of 144 elegantly furnished rooms. The hotel offers guests a small lobby with a reception. The stylish "La Cantina" restaurant, including an outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon, features a live cooking station and serves delicious specialties. The tastefully designed garden area contains an outdoor platform with wooden fitness equipment as well as a swimming pool (heated in winter) with a pool bar and sun terrace.
