Travel Information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and boarding day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Standard Cabins

The Standard Cabins (EK2) are equipped like the Standard Cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Cook's Club El Gouna

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, directly on a lovely saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. The small town center "Downtown" with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops is just a few minutes' walk away (also accessible by a hand-operated ferry). Various shopping facilities are also located in the vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful 700m away sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island". A approx. 400m long bathing jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier", leads from the beach over the reef into deeper waters. Explore the breathtaking coral reef here while snorkeling. The resort is located about 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is about 40 km away.

Facilities

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable from 16 years old) impresses with its very special style and consists of a three-story main building and several outbuildings, housing a total of 144 elegantly furnished rooms. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with a reception. The stylish restaurant "La Cantina", including an outdoor terrace with a view of the lagoon, features a live cooking station and serves delicious specialties. In the tastefully designed garden area, there is an outdoor platform with wooden fitness equipment and a swimming pool (heated in winter) with a pool bar and sun terrace.
