Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The holiday package you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. 5 AM optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1, 2, 3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1, 2, 3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca sailing on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
Opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2, 3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1, 2, 3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1, 2, 3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully equipped cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Facilities

The particularly spacious resort complex has 465 rooms. The open reception area is equipped with a reception and seating options. For your dining pleasure, in addition to the buffet restaurant, there are a total of eight à-la-carte restaurants (Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Bedouin, Mexican, Steak House, roots light & diet (all included) as well as the "Felucca" with seafood - for a fee). Refreshments, hot drinks, and snacks are available at the nine bars and a cafe (for a fee), which are distributed throughout the grounds and on the beach, including three adult-only bars.
